This Control Centre is operated by Andrew Orchiston for personal and home-network use under the domain orcnet.co.uk. This system is not a commercial service.

2. What Data We Collect

This system may collect and process the following data:

Network access logs – IP addresses and timestamps of devices that access this system, stored temporarily for security and diagnostic purposes.
Login credentials – Usernames/passwords used to authenticate, stored in hashed form.
Device and sensor data – Status data from Raspberry Pi devices and any connected sensors on the home network.

We do not collect any personal data from third parties, and we do not share any data with external organisations.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under UK GDPR, the legal basis for processing data on this system is legitimate interests — specifically, the secure and functional operation of a private home network and its devices.

5. Data Retention

Access logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and then deleted automatically. Credential data is retained only while an account is active.
